Presidential elections, in my opinion, have changed a lot over the years. Honestly, I just miss the days when people were more civil to one another. When did being mean, rude, and name-calling become okay? Most mature adults teach children not to behave in this manner, so why have so many normalized this bad behavior in adults?
Post-election, there are many people that are happy that their candidate won, and others that are not-so-happy that the candidate of their choice lost. If the candidate you voted for did not win, just know that ultimately, it will be okay. And most importantly, we should all strive to be kind to one another. Kindness matters.
