Through much of human history, there has been some form of chaos in the world. But in spite of this, there have also been many great achievements. There are so many amazing people who have come before us, and who have done great things. When we think about these people, we tend to focus on their achievements, and not necessarily the process that led them to the achievement. However, when we take a closer look at their lives, the things that they achieved were often done in the face of hardships. This could have possibly included both hardships in the world, and in their personal lives.
The lesson for us in this is to do what you can. Sometimes, we won’t have our best to give. Don’t let that stop you from moving ahead and pressing forward.
Do what you can. Take action based on your ability and your available resources.
Your ability, and available resources may not allow you to always do your best. But life doesn’t wait for us. We learn, grow, and gain experience by doing, not by waiting. There will be many times that we will have to face life’s challenges, even though we may feel inadequate. Life can present many obstacles. But the good news is that when we are willing to do what we can, God is there to fill in our gaps and inadequacies.
Have the courage to do what you can, and to trust God for the rest.
